Who We
Are:
Mission Statement of the System-wide RHORCs
Promoting the advancement of California's health and economic growth through
quality education and services focusing on workforce development and continuous
workforce improvement in health care delivery.
Mission Statement of the Interior Bay RHORC
Our overarching goal is to build partnerships between community colleges
and health care employers to promote Californias health and economic
growth. We achieve this by offering high quality education and services
that develop the health workforce, and support its continuous quality
improvement.
What We Do:
The primary objectives of our office are two-fold:
Provide a mechanism for networking and training partnerships between
community colleges and regional health care employers
Provide technical assistance to community colleges in the development
of training programs for first-level community health occupations.
Where
We Do It: Use Map of Our Interior Bay Region:
Our Territory encompasses the following seven Bay Area Counties: parts
of Alameda County; Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco; Solano; Sonoma;
and Napa, with a population of over
million, and with one of the
most culturally and ethnically diverse populations in California and the
US. The southern part of the Alameda County region is now served by the
Bay Area RHORC at http://www.rhorc3.net/
